Hi everyone.
I am new to this and in the very early planning stages. I came across a boat trailer for sale that potentially could be cut down for a year drop build. Has anyone done this before? Would you shy away from this idea? I’m not a welder or steel guy so the thought of building my own trailer is kind of daunting.

The company I would get the boat trailer from would do the steel work/welding and modifications.
