Box Kite Landing gear

Postby Ron Dickey » Fri Mar 17, 2006 12:51 am

I have a Trailer If is a Boat trailer an old boat trailer.

2 beams (3x6s) about 4 inches apart has rubber rollers inbetween
has a cross beam below the 2 main beams covering the axel and one at the back for lights. I removed all the boat rollers and winch. am removing rust to repaint the surfaces.

My Problem is there is no suport at the font left or right corners.
I will have balance from the back corners and middle but should have something up front.

Perhaps a angle iron from the beams to the corners.

Any thoughts??

One camera coming up

A freind who has a couple of those digitals said he'd let me use his for a day.

so On a clear day I will shoot away.

 then you will have an idea of howfar I have gotten.

And what my trailer looks like

Maybe my ugly face.

Paul and Dave,

Well it is now but it could change

This is a good site to have fore those who are traveling long distances
Might be worth having a section of usefull sites for the Forum.

http://radar.weather.gov/Conus/index.php

Now the weather is clear I just have to wait untill Frid. when I have a day off
Maybe when I get that new job I will have weekends off ;)
On Friday I can pick up the camera shoot my shots climb the moutain shoot the bay, drive to Montana De Oro and shoot the camping area and it's small bay and return the camera, Oh ya got to photograph the wife and me, and down load it on a computer burn on a CD and post the pixs.

No Problem

Ron

My Mavica digital makes better pics when it isn't sunny. Try it anyway.

Try turning on the flash to help illuminate the shadows...

I do use the flash for the shadows. It helps if you are not too far from the subject. Nearly all of my shots under the canopy, even with flash, require some touch up as it is too shadowy. I routinely up the gamma correction and contrast some.

Pictures are shot.

Now I have to reduce the bits down so I can show the shots.

shot with a large MB camera Canon sureshot. I am not use to auto focus but it did not offer a focusing screen. Just flate Glass my eyes are not what they use to be. and my glasses tint in sun so I missed the mist over the sea.

anyway I will post when I figure it out. I have yahoo photo but I have a slow motum and to many bits on each shot.

There is always something in my way :x :( :o
