Harbor Freight 5'x 8' Trailer #93747

Postby Clancy Courtney » Wed Apr 12, 2006 8:33 am

I just noticed HF is selling a 1500# capacity 5'x8' trailer with metal stake sides and ramps, model 93747. Has anyone used this trailer yet?

Wow. That will help a lot of non welders build a 5' X 8' teardrop.

Wouldn't you have to buy a portaband saw at the same time, so you can cut all that excess metal off?

Isn't the Red Trailer 5x8 $499 compared to that HF 5x8 at $599?

Mike, you may be right. But at least you get to buy the porta band.

One can always build the trailer in the HF parking lot so one can haul all the "other" tools that a teardrop builder needs home with him (or her).

looks like freight would be 50 bucks if you had it shipped.
wonder if they will stock those in the stores?
those 20% off coupons would be a handy thing to have.

what could one do with all that excess steel?

I just checked and the shipping to Missouri is $95 for a Red Trailer. So if you could pick them up at the store they are about the same price. Throw in a 20% off coupon and they would be a down-right bargain.
