The leaf spring issue is fixed. The new springs provide 2 additional inches of clearance.

You may want to replace the U-bolts. I do not see any threads sticking thru the bolts. You should have 3-5 threads showing just to be safe.

Madjack Most definitely!! For once it will be fun to be the biggest house on the block :R I figure I should be on-the-road by July. NYS DMV is a bitch when it comes to home-built's. Here is the agenda

Weigh it to determine the class (obtain weight slip for DMV)
Apply for a VIN number based on weight (mine will be over 1000# SO)
File a form for inspection by a safety officer ($25 fee)
Have all receipts for everything you used to build it ready for the inspection
If it passes inspection you can file for the VIN number (additional fee)
The inspection officer who approved the trailer must apply the VIN plate
Now you can apply for a registration and title of ownership (chching$$$$)

NOW YOUR LEGAL (for one year starting in January only)
