Hubs, Wheel bearings, axel, brakes

Postby Ron Dickey » Sat May 27, 2006 3:43 pm

I have no experience at this ... Luckly I have a neighbor who does.

I found this site and at bottom it show how to put the bearings on the hub.

The nut on the outside I guess only goes as far as the hole in the end of the axle? Right??

Ron,
I hope I have this pictured in my mind right. The hole at the end of the spindle (axle) should have a cotter pin in it to hold the bolt on. Hope that helps.

Ron,

You want to follow the instructions in the section headed: 'D: PRE-LOAD BEARINGS'
