Hmmm I see some 4 strand wire hanging out there... do we have to wire up the taillights yet?

I also see that we've made it to page 15 in this thread... For those folks who are just joining us, I suggest you look at all the new photos Steve just posted on page 14...

Don't worry! I got the wires ready to terminate in the future electrical compartment. A few splices and you're good to go!
I couldn't remember if the battery was going in the tongue box??? I ran 10-ga. wires from the tongue to that compartment just in case!!

Phyll and I were talking this afternoon. We're thinking black for our 'diner's fenders. Or maybe patriot blue...matches the Durango!!

That is one very sweet trailer! Mike, I vote for green fenders. Are either one of you going to be at Minden so we can see these trailers in person? Steve, you did an awesome job!

Yes, it's a Haier... I think it's something like 1.7 or 1.9...

Amount of epoxy

Postby Guy » Wed Apr 20, 2005 10:14 am

Dear Steve,

Do you have any idea of the approximate amount of epoxy you used for glueing up and sealing coats alone, please do not include the fibeglassing steps.
Regards,

Guy

Wow Steve & Mike! That is some awesome work!

I wasn't sure if I liked the shape at the design stage, but it looks fabulous.

Mike and Michelle just left with their 'Diner. They must have liked it!! They decided to go out camping in a real campsite between here and home!!
Mike made a run down the road to test things out before leaving. He said that it towed like "it wasn't there". When I dropped the coupler on the hitch, it barely moved the bumper. I weighed the tongue, about 110#..Couldn't ask for more!!

I'm planning on taking her to Mystic..So, I'd better get crackin'!!
Thanx to Mike for placing his faith in me, and to our group for the nice comments and support.

Yup! I worked on the frame...well, I cleaned up the shop, then started the frame. I think I will get this one done a lot faster than Mike's. I climbed the learning curve on the first one. The second one will go better, 'cause I know what to do/not do! I'm planning on taking it to Mystic, in July.
