Well, here we go. First post.
I am planning on building myself an offroad tear-drop camper. I have done a fair amount of research on the matter and i believe i am getting closer to kicking it off but I figured I would ask the experts first
So here it is:
It is designed to be towed behind my Discovery 1 and so it has exactly the same wheel track and is designed to fit the same wheels
This particular design is still in the early stages but there is going to be a slide out stove on the left side and cupboards above the galley bench. It is primarily to keep the girlfriend happy and drag her along camping.
It will include a water tank mounted in the chassis, a pair of jerry can holders and a 4.5kg gas cylinder mount somewhere.
The box on the draw bar is to hold a pair of 60 litre fridges. One set to fridge and the other freezer.
The whole thing will be constructed from 20mm sandwich panels. (foam sandwiched between 2 sheets of fibreglass)
Do you guys have any suggestions as to changes i should make?
