Hello

Postby Chuck745 » Fri Jul 25, 2014 10:41 am

Tired of waking up in a wet tent, and not owning anything big enough to tow much, I'm considering going down the build-it yourself teardrop road. Although he doesn't know it yet, Kevin (a.k.a. NightCap) just might be making some weekend trips up my way to help. Thanks for all the great posts/advice I've found here, and, thanks in advance for the answers to the newbie questions.

So, once I have the wife's buy-in :worship: I'll be heading to HF to get that trailer.

I agree, Wet tents were great (OK) when I was a kid, but now I deserve a little more comfort. I still want to camp, just not on the ground, but I don't want a mobile hotel room either. The 4x4x8 I built weights 1050# ready to camp and my TV has no problem (GMC PU) but if my TV were slighter I would want brakes on my trailers. In-expensive peace of mind.
Enjoy, Chris
