Newbie in Oregon!

Postby KarlG » Fri Apr 05, 2024 10:13 pm

Hello! Retired music teacher, current pianist/pipe organist/choir director/singer/cellist/woodworker/gardener/soon to be traveler in Portland, Oregon. I plan on renting a teardrop to begin with to see what it’s like, then either build or buy one that fits my needs. Hoping to learn from everyone about what features to include vs. what isn’t necessary, and also places you like to visit. Looking forward to exploring this website!

Welcome to the forum.
There will be several teardrop trailers April, 25, 26 & 27th at Champoeg campground A near Salem Oregon.
Come on by if you want to see a few teardrops and get some ideas.

There is also a gathering in Northern Cali called Redwood Rendezvous. I highly recommend coming there, seeing a bunch of trailers, and getting to know your soon to be new friends! You can even come without a teardrop! Or use that as one of your rental times. Check out the posting under "jefferson state" in the Gatherings section of this website for more info.
