Another newbie

Hello everyone, just getting into this and deciding on what kind of style i'd like to go with. Thanks in advance for the help and answering questions.
I am in FL, and mostly just been playing with my jeep, but really like camping and what to get out of a tent.

Hi I just signed on as well and I'm also in Florida.

I plan to build a trailer in time for Sturgis next year.

Welcome from one newbie to another

Hi SunstarJeep...

Welcome to the forum...

The style is easy... just ask anyone here who drives a jeep... If I had a jeep I'd build something like Sonetpro did...

http://sonetpro.shutterfly.com/action/

After you've looked at all the photo albums, and changed your mind a few dozen times, you'll figure it out!!!

Hey Tom,

I've been watching all the riders coming back from Sturgis. I've thought about going but I'm just not sure I want to brave the crowds. Are you planning on pulling your tear with your bike? If so, then lightweight is the key! I'm looking forward to it cooling off a bit so riding is fun again.

Joanne

Hi Joanne,

I'll be using my little S-10 to pull the trailer, and the bike will fit into the back of the truck.
If the S-10 is too small, my son has an F-150 I can use for awhile.

Welcome sunstar and all the newbies.... Be sure to scour over pictures in the Hall of Fame or the many campout photos.... check your towing capacity, how tall are you, and things like that to help make up your mind.

Good luck !!! and welcome!!!

Welcome sunstarjeep,
I must have missed this thread. Thanks Mike,
Are you looking for a offroad tear? There is a new offroad section started. Mine started as a off roader. But with the Boss's requirment's I got carried away. It is still a semi offroad just not a true one.
I am planning my next build now. This will be a offroader.
Look at PaulC's tear. He built it for the outback. Also look at the aussie tears. I really like the profile. http://www.aussieteardrops.com/
Just look through the hall of fame and check out Andrews design gallery at the top of the page. Have fun and plan it well.
