Hello from Canada

Postby D.J. » Wed Sep 20, 2006 5:01 pm

Hi all

I saw my first teardrop trailer when I got hooked up to the net in 1998 . I fell in love instantly . I am not much of a camper so the images rolled around in my head for a while with no outlet . Three years ago I discovered motorised bicycles . I saw the child carrier trailers towed behind bikes . They kind of looked like a backward teardrop and I thought why not make it right . The idea rattled around some more until this summer . I had some free time and decided to go for it . I finished the trailer last week and am waiting for the rainy weather to break so that I can take it out . I have posted the build on an other site . I will post a link or redo the post here as soon as I have looked around and figured things out . I plan on using the trailer with my motorbike and my pedal bike . I am glad that there are other people out there with a similar obsession ...............D.J.

Hey D.J.

Welcome to the forum...

That thing is tiny. It's cute though! Do you really sleep in there?

I have posted some info under bicycle travel trailers . I was thinking that I could adapt the simulated exhaust tips and make tail lights out of them . Or tell people that there is a sportster engine in there .
