Hello from the Pacific Northwest

Postby NWForester » Thu Feb 28, 2008 5:32 pm

Hello all. My name is Richard and I have been lurking around here for some time now. I discovered this site through one of my many searching endeavors for DIY trailers. I was born in Northern California and am currently living in Washington. I am currently in the military and will be moving to Hawaii very soon. I have been interested in building a tear drop for several years now, but just recently, that has evolved into more of an expedition style tent trailer. I think that I am still about a year away from this project, but I would like to squeeze the brain of any person willing to engage me in conversation. Thanks all.

Image to the playground. And THANK YOU for serving.

I don't know about the brain squeezing thing. Some of us are squeezed in that department enough. :NC Now if you look in the Hall of Fame and through the threads you will get lots of ideas and things to get yourself in deep addiction with.

Enjoy

Hi Richard,

Welcome to the forum. Don't know about any brain squeezing here either, but Miriam has the right idea about the "Hall of Fame". And ditto what she said about your service to our country. Thank You !!!!!

See you around.

Thanks for the kind words. By squeezing brains I was just reserving the rights to ask questions of you all in the future.

Yes, I have seen that design. That is darn close to what I have planned. I am planning to have that basic concept, but execute it in a more modular fashion; being that I would like to have a small utility trailer with a removable tent camper insert.

Welcome aboard ...

Richard, we'll have an Explorer Box on display April 26 at Vancouver lake (WA) during Alder Creek's paddle festival / kayak demo day. If you're in the area stop by and check it out. You're also welcome to visit us in Corvallis (OR).

A modular approach with a removable box is easy to do.
