:x

That's a great idea printing photos of it to keep with you, much easier than trying to remember what identifiable features it has.

So sorry to hear that your td got stolen! I'll be keeping my eyes peeled here in Connecticut as well. I'm always watching for tds and ttts when I'm on the road and there aren't many so when I do see one they really stick out. Good luck! Let us know if it turns up.

That really sucks. I am surprised these things don't happen more often though. There never seems to be a shortage of losers out there that don't understand what it means to work hard to get something nice for themselves. I can't believe that it could go too long out there without someone spotting it. Best of luck to you.

That Sucks seems too light......but it does. Will be keeping my eyes and spies working in the Pacific NW area. Dont mean to further rain on your parade, but my experience with the "Law" and theft would indicate you will get NO help from them, period. We all need to keep alert. Good luck to ya.

You might want to see if you can post an ad and picture here:

http://www.workamper.com/

Lots of people working at campgrounds would be looking for it. I wonder if it would help to send a flier to several campgrounds in the area?

Camp host sites

Postby Guy » Fri Jun 26, 2009 5:27 pm

Dear Terri,

Sorry about your loss, hope it is temporary. I wil try to find some sites that Camp Hosts use like workampers.com to post this on. If anybody can also ask some camp hosts which sites they use as forums or to look for additional positions maybe we can get this info out to camps across the west and track this down. Are there any pics of the underbody, in case the theif tries to alter the outside?
Regards,

Guy

I have posted your information with Our Camping World Goodwill Ambassadors.

They have a nation wide network and really visit a lot of really obscure campgrounds daily trying to Huckster up business..

Terri, so sorry to hear about your loss! Another thing you might do is create a Google Alert for "Teardrop" and another for "Benroy". Google alerts here:

http://www.google.com/alerts?hl=en

I have Google alerts for teardrop and dutch oven, and get up to 10 hits per day!

May God Bless you, Terri, and return your traveling home to you quickly.
God Bless

Cliff

Terri,

You might want to post some ads on Craigslist on your surrounding states. Nothing too specific , but something that would include teardrop seller to contact you"

looking for small TT or TD trailer for two people, nothing fancy, willing to pay cash, etc.

leave email address, but not phone number, and at some point after initial contact, ask for a photo.

if yours turns up contact the police and let them handle it from there.

I'll keep an eye up north in WA, but in the meantime, Good luck.
