1967 Kustom Koach

Greetings from Calgary Alberta. Not a teardrop owner/builder but rebuilding a 1967 Kustom Koach. 12.5 feet from hitch to bumper. I think it qualifies as a tiny trailer. Still a work in progress but slowly coming together. I found this site about 3-4 months ago and have already gotten some good ideas so decided I should register as a member. :D

Welcome!

I like the profile of the trailer, but that door sure looks narrow!

What is the story with the tiny window up above the larger one?

Hello Bezoar,
The profile is some what unique. Not a canned ham and not a square 70s toaster style but somewhere in between.
The door is very small. Only 19 inches wide and 58 inches tall.
The small windows near the roof are small vent style windows that have a small lever that hinges to bottoms out. There is a small upper bunk above the main bed/table and the small windows are for ventilation.
I will post a build journal soon when I get some spare time.

I think it's totally cool. I'm building a cargo trailer conversion now, but later on down the road I'd like to pick up one of these older trailers, they just have so much spunk...
