Hatch Hinge

New to the Forum. Researched the following and did not see too much. We are building a kind of Teardrop but with a rear entry tilt up hatch. Width is about 7 feet. Have not been able to locate any hurricane hinges that long so will probably fabricate one. Any suggestions?

Welcome aboard,
These guys sell hurricane hinges up to 8' https://www.teardroptrailerparts.com/ Remember you need 1/2"-3/4" overhang on either side to ensure water doesn't backtrack into your hatch, this is a known issue experienced by quite a few folks that didn't do this.
