Battery mount on a V-nose?

Hello all,

I have a question! Has anybody ever mounted a battery (box) on the front of a v-nose cargo trailer? I am thinking that there isn't much (or not even enough) room to do so.

Maybe it would be possible to weld some angle iron off of one side of the tongue to accomodate a battery!

Any ideas?

I would be afraid to have it off to the side of the tounge it may get pinched between the truck and trailer if you get in a tight spot.

I was thinking that could be a problem when I turn sharp.

Take a pic and post it - John may be able to figure something out... He's a welder from way back and may have ideas about "tucking" things in.

I will do that. I am going to pick it up tommorrow from the dealer.
