I am so pleased with the 280aH battery bank I assembled, that I decided to order another set of 4 3.2V Prismatic Cells from China for $468.00, which is what I paid in January. I hope they accept the order. It will be 3 or 4 months before I see them in any case.

I am going to get rid of the 4 SLA Golf Car batteries in the 7*18 Vnose and then I can use both LiFePo4s with the 800W of solar. I really won't need 560aH in the 6*12... but I can see using 560ah in the 7*18 a nd just rotating one of the 280aH banks into the 6*12 when I take it. In any case.. too good a deal and the SLA's are 3 years old.. so they will be getting past their prime soon and I only have 225aH useable with those.

Another fringe benefit is that I will free up all the space under my dinette seat for storage.

Well, it will actually be 510aH now LOL . I went to re-order the 280aH from same place... there is a shortage and prices escalated and they cannot fill right now, but they sold me some 230aH batteries that will deliver for $403.00 in mid June. I won't miss the 50aH. 230aH is actually equivalent to the useable on the 4 golf car batteries.

I have noticed the prices going up in general like everything else. Still will be good as I will have about $510 in the battery with the BMS for 230aH. Not bad.. It would cost that much for SLA with taxes and core charges.

Yes.. very affordable these days for LiFePo4 if you are willing to wait 3 to 4 months to receive the cells and take the risks associated with DIY.

510aH will probably be more than I need, but won't have to be concerned with running the generator much and when I do, it will charge at full current and probably take no longer for full charge than the smaller capacity SLA bank.

Yes! They did not finish last Friday. So far poor communication from Sales people. I have to ask after I get no call and they still cannot tell me when. I just get "they are working on it as we speak ". Very frustrating.

The specs for that inverter say 1.5A no load draw. Do you think that it actually draws that much no load current?

I am looking to buy another pure sine wave inverter, maybe about 1000 to 1500 watts. My Renogy 700 watt actually draws about .5 amps no load. The specs for the Renogy 1000 watt also say about .5 amps no load draw.

I had some free time on hands today since I did not get my trailer Friday as planned... so I made a video on the WZRELB 1500W Pure Sinewave Inverter. Thought you may be interested.

I also did one yesterday on my Progressive Dynamics 45A LifePo4 Charger/Converter. Yes, way too much time on my hands. LOL

Thanks...

It was raining late today and I was stuck indoors... made another quick video that details a modification I will make to my DIY Solar Power Pack. I am adding AC Charging to it as I mentioned previously.
