Big Dave, Howdy;

Something like this is the industry standard.

Can also visit Valterra's site, or shop around for pricing...

And it needs vented outside correct? So I could put it in the floor?

Big Dave, Howdy;

Hydrogen is lighter then air so it would need to be above the top of the container, porting out board.
OR install a fan to pull it down-n-out. Your trailer, your choice.

Anyone think I should add more battery to this?

I think I’m going to build a battery box in the floor above the axles,

I also want to order this to charge them?

BigDave, maybe I misunderstood, but this is not for charging the batteries at all. This is an inverter to take 12vdc from batteries to make 110VAC power. This is a modified sinewave so I would not recommend it for inductive loads or expensive or sensitive electronics. You want a pure sinewave inverter for that.

You need a converter to charge the batteries which takes 110VAC and makes 12dc power to run 12vdc appliances and lighting. The converters typically have a built in battery charger to charge the batteries.

I was under the impression I needed both of these to function in the trailer.

WFCO WF8955PECB Black 55 Amps Power Center Converter Charger https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004BC59S6/re ... 6Y71KFZRG5

I have to admit. The power side of all of this stuff has me lost. I can frame and build anything, I can handle plumbing and so forth but add sparks and I get lost

Yes, the WFCO is what you need to charge the batteries and etc. It is a good all in one for your DC and AC wiring with fuses and breakers.

Google the difference between a pure sinewave inverter and a modified sine wave inverter. You may want to get a pure sinewave inverter.

Here is a good link from Renogy:

Good luck with the wiring. It is not that hard and should be straightforward with the WFCO panel.

I guess before I got to deep into that link solar, I’m not adding solar to this right away, am I in need of the inverter T this point?

I thought the inverter was to take the battery output and change it from 12v to 120v for use to power the appliances and say.. phone chargers?

This is the right style of inverter, I don’t see a medical device this year but reading makes for sound advice for the fridge or a Tv at some point on a wall to watch a movie

Fantastic job on the lifting bed! I envy your metal fabrication skills.

Regarding the power converters, having used both WFCO and Progressive Dynamics, I prefer the latter (PD). Here's a link: https://www.progressivedyn.com/rv/power-centers/.

I have had neither, so I cannot comment. I have hooked them up for a few folks.. much the same in that regard and in function. I am sure either will work just fine for intended purpose.

I think I’ll just order the pure sine and the one I first linked. Go from there

Or move on to framing walls and start plumbing for shower and toilet

Not the amount of progress I wanted since I didn’t order enough lugs.... but I’ll continue on Thursday with my 4guage positive and negative wires,

I have had some question regarding the goal or plan.
To be honest, seat of my pants comes to mind.

But

Here is what I have:

https://www.etrailer.com/RV-Lighting/Op ... ILL34.html

I ordered 6 of them. Installed one so far.
The fantastic fan also to pull some stinky kid smell out.

A few wall outlets to charge phones or other small electronics.

Water pump no idea ?

Instant water heater unit from Amazon

Camplux Pro 1.58 GPM Tankless Propane Water Heater, Outdoor Propane Gas Water Heater with Portable Handle, Portable Gas Water Heater for Camping,Cabins,White https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TP8W2B7/re ... V14QZ0DBAS

Other wise I haven’t figured out fridge option, I’d like to get a dual fridge out of another trailer. The one I pulled last year has some major plastic interior issues I don’t want to deal with, I think my kids threw baseballs at it honestly.

I would like to plug in at a camp site if I can, I plan on a generator in the future, but otherwise rely on the battery’s for two day trips
