I would say that the people were jealous of your spot and camper.
what a great location sure beats the 60 degree weather we are having today I think it reached 71 or so.

we didn't have a shady spot.. so the portable ac was having to run full out to keep it somewhat comfortable.
View from our side window turned towards ocean.

Picture was taken by my cam on timer. :)

Average daily temp for Edisto in Sept for us had been around a dry 85*
I'd book it all over again if I can't find one earlier.

Well, we're home. :(

But we had a blast. 8)
Already thinking on what needs improvements.
What did we not have. And what needs to be done like ASAP.
lol. New projects up coming.

I saw a really neat privacy shower made from PVC and old awning cloth.
I plan to make one. It sat on a red cedar slat flooring. was approximately 44" side to side. very nice very portable. only tops and bottoms were glued.
I took pics. Shall make that soon.

Our Family friend who went to Edisto with us, brought a portable room AC with her for the camper.
I liked it so much I bought it.

a bit of both. It averaged 84*+ degrees outside this week at the beach and it kept the camper at 74* my personal comfort temperature. :)

why go out the floor, instead of out the wall, with the a/c vent?

I like the set up going out the floor.

My power cord is set up the very same way.

Kharn, I had a couple reasons.
One was stealth. I had many people asking about our camper at the This last outing. They never knew we were cooling it inside. That's a plus. LOL
I like going out below as much as possible with many things. I'm fixing to do many things involving going out the bottom. It's unused area that I can plan many things for. Water storage, Tool Bin drawers beneath, and Gray water tank.
Many couldn't believe the PC system I had going on inside.
I like the idea of people not knowing just how what exactly I can do with my "redneck" looking trailer.
Everyone in the campground had their Manufactured camper. There was only two sites on the Beach front campground that were tents. This time of the year they were mostly retirees with nice motor homes or expensive TTs with fancy pants awnings. Yet they came to me to talk about having to pay taxes, insurance, values, and many other things. When they understood the involvement in my CTC it was a mindset changer for some of them.

The sink on the laundry stand was a success. But Rhonda wanted something a bit higher and different. Hence THIS: *chuckles*

Now I just need to stain the wood and touch up some things.

We went shopping today and picked up two single speed adult bikes so we don't do the whole rental thing anymore. more fun eligible.

We also picked up some E-track at Northern Tool to hang the bed/couch from the walls of the camper. A cargo net to fit on the shelves to secure items when traveling.
