pmspirito,

Superb trailer! Love the windows, door, awning and non-fiberglass, structural roof front.

Prem

P.S. Chrome wheels will be the crown jewel!
My goal...

Here is the final air conditioner installation. The mounting bracket is actually a full sleeve that goes thru the door. The sleeve is through bolted with stainless bolts and locking nuts. The flange is caulked with butyl rubber strip caulking sandwiched between the bracket and the door. After the air conditioner was slid into place the annular space between the ac and the sleeve was caulked with butyl rubber gun caulking. The trim molding conceals the bolts and is removable.

pmspirito,

 How much room above the door does the rolled up awning need?

Earnest
Dadgum it! I cut that board 5 times and it's still too short!

I have six inches above the door. I needed to remove the marker lights along the top rail on the side with the awning. The installer fastened an awning rail/channel to the top rail. I added solid wood blocking in the wall at each end for the bolts for the bottom bracket arms before i brought the TT to the awning installer.

A couple of more interior projects.

The first is the TV is now permanently mounted in place. Previously the TV just sat on the TV shelf and had to be disconnected and laid down on the bed and blocked in place with pillows, etc. Now it is permanently fixed in place and I added a DVD player below it. I used to play DVD's on the TV by playing then thru my laptop computer. Since I purchased a smart-phone I no longer carry the laptop with me.

The second is the fastening of the microwave to the countertop has been a real convenience. I used to have to stow it under the bed when on the road and return it to the kitchen area with each stop. I bought these clip things at Camping World. There is an adhesive mounting pad that attaches to the countertop and another to the side of the microwave. There is a flexible strap that connects the two. The stick on clips have latches that allow the microwave to be easily for cleaning underneath.

The third is a shelf unit mounted to the inside of the cabinet door below the sink for frequently used items

That wraps up the inside of my TT. Next I will give you an outside tour of the latest improvements.
