So is it better to have some fuel in the generators tank before you connect the remote tank or does it not matter? Thanks for the explanation and pictures. This is a good alternative to the kits available online.

I'd fill it all the way up

It will start the syphon action sooner. If the gas can is on level or below the generator, the syphon is created by the vacuum and maintained by the vacuum and not gravity.

Planning another camping trip for the end of the month. Looking forward to a few days in the CTC. Not sure what improvements I will make before I go this time?

Went riding for Three days in Ocala NF this week. Can't believe I needed the AC in Dec. . Glad I brought it. :-) Was a good trip. I did note that the solar panels don't work too well in the shade. Besides running the AC, I did need to run the generator a bit to top of the batteries at night to make sure all the electrics work overnight.

Sold this trailer this weekend. It was sad to see it go... but I am on to a new build. Going to a larger CT and will use my lessons learned and build even better this time around.

The new build:

My Microsoft OneDrive throws up pics from the past on the particular day of the month. These old photos popped up of my very first CTC. It had a sink, fridge, heat, AC and portable toilet and outside shower. I had a cot that was set up for sleeping when the bike came out.

The hatch on the ramp door was for sliding the Window AC out. I got rid of my one hose adapted to 2 hose portable for the slide out window unit.

I learned alot on this one which helped me improve things on #2 and #3 of which I still have.

Neat trailer.
As an aside, does your motorcycle and camping buddy Tommy still use his trailer much?

Yes he does. Not near as much as he'd like to I am sure. We usually go camping together a few times a year. Mostly in the fall and winter here.
