Coming soon:

I am in the process of converting a cargo trailer that I traded a teardrop for. :o
My wife and I like to be pretty comfortable and set up a big kitchen when we camp :D

Nice setup! Where do you put the yaks when you haul them too?

You might also post in the Off Road section with a link to your post here. Even if you don't plan on 4 wheeling it, many there might benefit from your design ideas.

TOYoverlander,

Your pictures are from Douthat SP, VA and somewhere near Snowshoe, WV are they not?
I was near both of them from last Wed. to last Friday.
We rode the Cass RR to Bald Mtn and was in 6 inches of snow at 4830 feet. The snow line was at about 4100 feet.
Here are a few pictures from there.

If I am right, we should meet up sometime and compare our projects. I am near Roanoke.

What you are doing and the sights you are visiting are exactly what I plan on doing.

Please tell me more about your "300 stick on LED's. I am trying to find a reasonably priced 12v string light for my hunt camp in a week or so.

PKCSPT,
Thank for me for the ones I submitted and TOYoverlander's was nice also.
I like your Beetle pic. I always had a fondness for the Beetles and what they can do....guess that is because I had three of the original ones (63, 66, 68) myself in the good ole days.

My first car was a 68 and my mom drove a 72 Super Beetle. Fun little toys that smile at you. People laugh at me, I always back in to a spot at work and I tell them when I walk to my car I see a smile so how bad a day or night in my case could it have been? Then they see it too. Yeah its the little things in life.

i ordered them off Amazon but they shipped straight from china (i hate to order from china and do it little as possible but its tuff on stuff like this). the controller is a wireless type and was very easy to wire! used them this weekend and the setup worked well. if you want more of a flood light then i recomened some landscape lights.

led strip > http://www.amazon.com/Generic-Waterproo ... =led+strip

controller > http://www.amazon.com/Controller-Dimmer ... d_sim_hi_6

flood light > http://www.ebay.com/itm/10W-20W-30W-50W ... 544wt_1170 ( i did the 10w 12v warm white ) gives off great light but u need to be close to it

Great,
We like the WV area so much that we will go back in the June time frame to see the Rhododendrons in bloom. I hope I have my CT done by then. Also the Cranberry Bog hiking area right around the corner from there looks to be a great hike. We just started in it but gave up b/c of the slippery snow. There is also the Hill Creek 3 Falls site right nearby.

Give me a shout when you are near us, go the Blue Ridge or wherever and lets meet for lunch for something and do that note comparing thing.
Actually I am at Smith Mountain Lake, another nice area to camp and enjoy the water. We have a nice State Park here. I f you do it in the right weather, I can give you a boat tour of the lake. And I will send you a PM when I head in your direction.
