So I added some Firestone riderite airbags and daystar cradles to help with the sagging

Little update, so this is how it will normally be loaded. All my decoys and gear for waterfowl hunting.
Image
Image When it's time to sleep I just pull the two white bags out and set up my sleeping mat and bag. I think I'm going to pick up a cot so I'm not directly on the trailer floor. I do still need to insulate the floor, that should help keep the trailer a tab bit warmer along with the rest of the insulation.
Image
To keep my battery topped off I picked up a solar panel and controller from harbor freight. I also secured 8 large magnets to the underside so I can keep it from being blown of the top of the trailer, but at the same time still be able to quickly remove it for when it comes time to move the trailer. So far it has stood up to 50 mph winds out in the area that we hunt and it didn't budge.

I got a new tow pig :FNP Here is what I will be going to. 2005 Chevy 2005 with a LLY Duramax, Allison trans, 4wd and the short bed that I wanted with 150k miles on it. It's got some brand of 3" lift with brand new bilstein 5100s, BFGs on ProComp wheels. Have some mods planned already but nothing too crazy.

Towed the trailer for for the first time with the new rig.

Man is it nice having a bigger tow vehicle, I love having the tow/ haul mode. It makes it so much easier slowing down this trailer even though it doesn't have trailer brakes. And, getting 19mpg is way better than getting 8mpg like I was with my Tacoma.

Went to AZ for the dove opener and I took the trailer for base camp. There ended up being 30 people out there this year, so it was good we had plenty of shade and light at night thanks to the exterior LEDs I have on the trailer. I bought out both of my marine batteries and the solar panel did a good job and charging them back up during the day. Since I didn't get a chance to pick up a cot yet I just slept right on the back ramp of the trailer.
Drove through Galamis it still blows my mind at how tall some of these dunes get

We camp right on the river about 30miles south of Parker, AZ. It's nice to be able to cool off in the river after hunting all day in 100*+ days. And it's a good thing that I brought both of the batteries for the trailer because we ended up filling up a bunch of tubes to float.

I do need some kind of fan for the trailer when dove hunting. It was 97 one of the nights and 92 another with no breeze. So I went to Walmart and picked up a 12v oscillating fan. Hopefully that will help

I use usb powered fans that I bought at walmart for $10 and it comes with a wallwart but I use power banks when I go out of town or camp. I have been very happy with it, puts out a lot of air but still pretty quiet.

Thanks for sharing... I have never hunted ducks in blinds or etc.. but I have done a lot of Dove hunting over some planted fields. Never had so much fun! I like that I actually get to shoot the shotgun a lot as apposed to big game hunting when you shoot only once if you get a shot. For some reason, I like the smell of gunpowder in the air.

I have done some Pheasant and Qual hunting with dogs... and that is wild also. What I like most about that is to watch the dogs do their thing... awesome when they are trained right.

In any case... looks like you have a good thing going there. Enjoy! Also... assuming from your Avitar and forum name you are in the Coast Guard. Thanks for your service.
