Converting Cargo Trailers into TTTs

Don,
The magnetic screen door while my fit isn't the best, does work well.
I have my baskets and hand rail that interfere with mounting, on sides. And the "hem" on top I still have to do correctly.
But combined with my roof vent fan, it cooled off nice.
I'm work camping and trying them out for the first time.

Thanks for the info on the screen door Padilen! I am probably going to give one a try. Hank asked me what else to improve, maybe that is it. :-) LOL

Post some work camp pics. Glad you are getting to use Taz.

I am heading out Thursday after work for 3 nights in Ocala National Forest. Going to ride trails some on the KTM and probably find a good spring to cool off in. Will be hot.. but typically rain in late afternoon makes the evenings cooler. We will see. I can always crank up the Honda and run the AC. :-)

I installed the DOT approved knobbies on the KTM-690R last night after work. Will be loading it in the CTC tonight for the first time. Anxious to pull out on Thursday PM and ride this weekend. Will post pics of it loaded up.

Don,

Please share a link to the High Gain Directional Antenna that you have for your cell (brand & model).

Thank you.

Hader, here you go. I bought the omni antenna with the kit and bought the yagi later, but here is the system with the high gain yagi:

SureCall Fusion4Home Yagi/Whip, Cell Phone Signal Booster Kit for All Carriers 3G/4G LTE up to 3,000 Sq Ft https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01AWGY57U/re ... tBbQGQG5RA

Here is just the antenna: it is not 12db like I said. It is only 11dB. I was going from my bad memory.

SureCall Wide Band Directional 50 Ω Outdoor Yagi Antenna with N-... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0076CHD4G/re ... tBbA2KANNY

I don't know nothing about this stuff! I figured I'd ask you. Because I trust you. If it's 'good enough for Don', It's more than Good -enough for me. .... Thank you..

Hader, thanks, It works great for me, but please read up on these devices so you know what they can do and thier limitations. There are many reviews, some good and some bad. Many people will get something like this (and these are expensive) and expect miracles and then be disappointed because of thier expectations then give a bad review.

These amps are meant for improving cell coverage in a fringe area, but there has to be something there to start with. This unit also has gain settings and flashing LEDs to status. They take some adjustments depending on your proximity to the tower.

Good luck.

No tubeless. Heavy Duty Tubes. I went with Pirelli MT-21's. I like Pirelli tires. KTM uses these stock on this bike. Previous owner put the street tires on it.

flboy, Howdy;

All packed up and ready, how many times have I told myself that over the years :thinking: .

Any way, if those curtains strat movin' around we would sew some washers in the bottom hem
or some magnets if that white piece is a ferrous metal. Kept the curtains from flappin' around
and slappin' us in the faces while trying to get some sleep.

Not leaving now. Crisis at work and the buck stops here with no way to pass the buck. Now I have to unpack it all this weekend and work instead of play. Darn it!

flboy, Howdy;

Sorry to hear that you're having one of those "Life gets in the way of __________ (fill in blank),
times, but they pay the bills so we can enjoy the benes, later perhaps there is some 'Karmic'
reason :thinking: . See what else goes on during this time frame.

Oh Man! Just experienced an anti-climax. Well that sucks, on the other hand it's good to be needed. Just sayin'.... Well I guess I'll try to carry the torch. I'm supposed to leave for Red Lodge this afternoon or evening. Beartooth Pass Rally and Iron Horse Motorcycle Rodeo this weekend. Poker run over the pass to Cody and back to Red Lodge Friday. Saturday 250mi, 7 bar run to Roscoe, Colombus, Absorokie, Rockville, Edgar, Fromberg, Bridger, Belfry. Then Pig races at Bearcreek Sat. nite. Iron Horse Rodeo Sunday. Gonna help a friend with some branding and fix a few things for him Mon. Home Tues/Wed?
We will just see how it goes. If I make it out of here sometime before Midnight I'll consider that a win!
Yee Haw! Let 'er buck!
