Have a fun safe time! I think I'll be pulling Taz out April 1st. That maybe an April fool's joke, we'll see.

Sorry McDave. :-)

Just another small upgrade before I go in addition to the insulation I put in under the floors over the last two weekends.
My water fill doors and outside shower had different keys for the Cam locks. I got some good barrel key locks that are much better and all the same key. Always little things to improve. I only needed three, so I have an extra in case I add another compartment. I have a cargo compartment door leftover from the donor trailer and I have been thinking of adding it. It would open up from the outside and give me access under the kitchen counter way back in the corner. Maybe.. I haven't cut a hole in the outside lately.

A pic of my HF antenna and radials I set up. Going to collude with the Russians tonight if the band conditions are favorable. ;-)

Awesome! He didn't get any prettier, but looks healthy and happy. That's good enough. Glad you are back Tommy!
I'll go out to the plow truck and fire up the CB. Once the tubes warm up there is a pretty good chance I can hear you broadcast with that set up. I'll be at BR-549... ;) ...

Back when I had my 2008 Goldwing, I carried a round/octagon electrical box cover for the kickstand. The weight of the bike and the summer heat would sink that sucker down into the asphalt faster than you could say "nice looking belly pan under the bike"! I never had it happen to me, but I've seen a bunch of them submit and I learned from other's mistakes.

Great idea on using what you had available... kinda like MacGyver!

Looks good. I bet you read Cycle News, Great free mag, I look forward to every issue.

I know a lot of 'bikers' are not liking electric bikes, but an electric trials bike like the Yamaha could have big advantages. Such as immense instant torque.

It may improve Pro rider skills.

Have fun!

I have been following the elecric bikes. The battery technology and etc.. is just about there. I will end up with one someday soon. 150 mile range is good for the daily commute. I would like to try the dirtbikes before I bought one however.

A pic at the rest stop on the way home. Had a great weekend camping. All systems worked well. The weather was great overall and just nice to be in the woods.

Tommy must be somewhere, I see his truck and CTC. :-)

DC motors are incredibly strong and easily modulated. It's just... well I'm afraid I'd have to put playing cards in the spokes to even relate to the speed etc. but the power and the fact you may not need a transmission, or clutch and the regenerative braking is way cool. I would definitely try it.
