Great job! It's scary being a pioneer, but sure rewarding when it works out. :applause:

Iconfabul8, Don & McDave, Thank you for your help, encouragement & Compliments.

Don,
"How is it working for you? Enough air getting out so as to cool the condenser well enough?"
So far, so good. The condenser well seem to be more-than adequate, insulation on the inside of the well, caulking & taping all joints is keeping heat out from the the inside of trailer. I have about 74 Sq-In outside air intake and 420 Sq-In for exhaust, The only issue is the bathroom vent being placed inside the well is causing hot air to raise into the bathroom (I'll have a fix for that in my next visit to the hardware store).

Very good! Glad to hear it is working well.. I think there will be some folks borrowing your design! It will suit a lot of folks not wanting holes in the side or roof and to be "stealth" .

Good idea. But once again an idea not for my 16" on center CTC. Somebody make an affordable 14-15 inch AC please.

Padilen,
It still can be done no matter what size of AC, or 'on center' you may have. Post me a sketch of where you want the AC and what's around it (walls, etc .), include dimensions. and I'll help you with it. :)

That would be without cutting the stud and trimming the flange of the vent to go around it? May need a different type of vent... I'd have to go look, but the LP Refrigerator vent I used was recessed and flush with the interior wall. There are other options for the vent cover for sure.. I was already in the mode of cutting the holes and was set in my mind on that type of vent.

"That would be without cutting the stud and trimming the flange of the vent to go around it?"

I think it can be done for any frame configuration without any cutting other than the floor board.

Oh, I'm sorry.. thought you were talking about the side wall. Sure, they way you did that would work fine for Padilen if she's going through the floor.

I'm on a cell phone. It looked like you placed the AC down and in between the "floor joists".
Lowering it through and then flush with the bottom of joists. Guess that's not what you did.

The AC is on top of the floor board. The duct is under the floor board and between the cross-members.
The setup can be replicated anywhere on the trailer floor, even when a cross-member is in the middle under the AC.
