Another Couple of great days, yesterday and today! put a pretty good dent in my list! I completed the upper cabinets... except for doors... Got the Counter tops installed and the Sink Set... Finally got to test the plumbing... Yay no leaks!! I hooked up the pump directly to a 12v battery to check out that system... and hooked up to city water direct.. to check that system out...Both worked great.... I am just using a Walmart jug for a temp... tank for now... Tested the toilet and holding tank... everything works great there also...

I also started hooking up some of the outlets... and cut a hole in the side for the 30 amp input plug... and put beadboard on the inside where the electrical panel will go... Nice to see some progress...

Oh no I am under the gun!!! lol.... we are heading out for first run on the 23rd.... so much to do yet.... I made a list of priorities... but every time I finish one item... I think of 3 more....

well first hard lesson I learned.... when I ran the wiring before I put the walls up... I only drilled a hole for the wire to come through... figuring when I put in the boxes.. that I would just cut the square out with my multi tool.... well I learned I am not that good at precision cutting with a multi tool... hopefully the face plates will cover the extra cuts.... and one of them I actually cut the wire... so had to cut higher up into the paneling so I could splice the wires back together.... so when we get back... I will need to take off that piece of paneling and either re run the wiring or put a junction box behind the wall where the splices are....

At least in the bathroom.. I could install the boxes for the TV before I put the inside piece up.... also got the Cable for the TV installed... just need to notch out the 2x2s for the path it will follow...

Image

I just need to hook up the switches and outlets on these four boxes and they are done!!

Image

I also got one wall up for the electrical cabinet and fit the PD4045 into place... so this weekend I can put the paneling up and secure the elect panel!!

Image

Lots of wires to hook up!

Image

Built the battery box... which is under the elect panel and changing seat....

Image

I have 3 days this weekend plus a couple hours after work several of the other days... so might make it.... worse case scenario... would prob be not get the trim up... and possibly the cupboard doors....

Had a pretty Productive weekend! didn't get pics of everything... but will post again before we take off on our trip...
I hooked up the PD4045... Was actually pretty simple... didn't run into any problems!! Tested everything it all works like it should, used a multi meter and a plug in tester and everything seems to be doing what it is suppose to...

Image

Image

Also hooked up the batteries, built a box and kill switch...

Image

Hooked up the inverter, even has a remote switch..

And finished up the beadboard in the bathroom...

Image

I decided to build a box around the vent pipe, but haven't taken pics yet... also got a cheap accordion door for now for the bathroom, finished the electrical cabinet for now...

Hey Mr.,
That's a lot of progress in a short time. Just remember, it doesn't have to perfect for the first run just useable. Where are ya' headed? Our first run is also Fri, Sat, Sun. 23, 24, 25 in Red Lodge Mt. They are calling for snow Friday so that's always fun on a Harley. Should warm up to around mid 40's for Sat and Sunday. Summer is here!

Thanks! we are heading to Ocean shores in Washington for the weekend... then down to Beverly Beach (Newport) Oregon for the week.... Ha.... yes snow on a Harley not good! although when I was a kid! many moons ago, the neighbors had 2 BMW's and one had a side car, so the neighbor kid would (borrow) the one with the side car and we would spin donuts and have all sorts of fun in it in the snow!! Hope his parents never found out!!!

we are still cold up here also... think I will through a heater in the rig instead of a A/C unit! lol

although... my brother n law had a massive heart attack Saturday.... (58) and is still in intensive care.... so might not be able to go until we hear if he is out of the woods....

Love Ocean Shores area. I've got friends that live not far from there, last time I was in WA to visit, they took me to Ocean Shores so I could stick my feet in the Pacific. July 4th weekend and it was in the 50's there and ya'll still had snow on the lower areas of Mt. Ranier. Now the EX wife and husband live in the Seattle area. I love the Tacoma and Puyallup area.

We seem to go every year... something about it... ha there are still some of the lots for sale that Pat Boone and some other Hollywood investors made..anywhere from $5k to $50k... but cheaper ones are full of scrub brush.... the worse thing is the commute down to Olympia... we live Nirth of Seattle and it takes forever... now

Wrapped some of the lose ends up!! Headed out for trip early afternoon yesterday!! The trailer pulled fine... I think I will want a bigger pickup going over any mountains... the Ford 5.4 is not a power house... but it was for the most part a flat trip... traffic was horrible took 7 hours to go on a 3 1/2 hour trip!!!
Set camp up... slept in the trailer it was great!!! Will see tonight if it gets too hot but it was 90 while we were traveling... but the trailer didn't sit in the sun all day... we slept pretty comfortable with just the max air and windows open... making a list already what I wish I would of done or finished!!!!
I'll post some pictures when I can!!
