Aftermarket door locks

Postby beachguy005 » Mon Apr 24, 2017 12:19 pm

Hi folks, I'm curious about the locks people are installing on their doors not factory supplied. All the ones I've seen online seem to be for 1.25" doors or thicker. Mine is 1". I've been looking for the typical TT keyed latch with deadbolt.
Thanks,

You could use the standard lockset and add a 1/4" spacer to the inside.

Thanks for the comments. I saw the spacer mentioned but I wasn't sure how well a 1.25" lock would fit in a 1" door even with the spacer. My primary concern is the fit and alignment as I'll have to drill out the frame to receive the latch.
