Al, Here are the links for the vents I used like you asked. The side vent I used for exhaust is 21" wide.

Just a note on the AC mounting. I wouldn't worry about the AC "bouncing around" regardless of what height you choose to mount it at. Just screw it down to the shelf you build for it. It will be fine. Use 4 "L" brackets into the AC and then into the shelf. The shelf supports the AC vertically with L brackets holding down...the "L" brackets will keep it on the shelf. Additionally, the main forces that would dislodge the AC are lateral forces (side to side)..... and if there is enough lateral motion to dislodge the AC from the "L" brackets... you have much larger problems.

Don..do you have any pics showing how you dealt with water runoff..I think you mentioned a pan and I shroud go back as you may have a pic. What kind of pan did you use as A 50lb AC would crush most..Then next question would be once you have a hole and route your tubing to the exterior, how did you seal the tubing to the water collection pan..Did you use some kind of flange and silicone

Cheers
Al

I did not use a pan. I drilled a hole in the AC Pan right where the condensation channel was from the evaporator and put a 1/4 fitting to connect a hose. The Pic below shows about where I put it. I ran the hose down the frame and drilled a fole in the floor.

afterr I drilled the hole and put it in, I siliconed it in place as you can see. So far, it is working well.
