No trailer work for a week.
No withdrawls either, to busy fishing...
Silver salmon, then rainbows and dolly varden on flies

That was the smallest silver. My wife lost one right at the boat that would have gone 3' long.
All trout were catch and release.
Back to work...
Dinette table in, doors all primed.

Makes me wish I had looked at the tank in the TT and 5th wheel to see attachment!

Cabinet doors hung, still need latches.
One kitchen drawer in, had the drawer slides left over so was working from memory with them.
Water heater also showed up early, work never stops.
Especially when archery season starts Friday.

Drawers in.
Water heater in.
Outside shower in.
Tomorrow will be a pex kind of day.
And no, I have not made provisions for propane yet. Initially was goung to put a tank on the hitch, but leary of the weight with a spare and battery. Thought I would weigh the tongue dry, then loaded. My calculations show a dry weight of about 2,200. Kind of thinking simply carry the tank loose. Have a quick disconnect for the water heater and stove.

Plumbing all installed, no leaks. Wife is happy. Just need to run propane to the eater heater.
I did some tongue weight playing. I want a minimum of 300 pound tongue weight. Set up with full water tank, water heater full, weight of rear ice chest, food, then clothes in front (all using free weights from our basement gym), I will need the weight of the spare, battery and propane tank on the hitch. We typically also tale a 45 qt ice chest only for drinks/water, so that will ride in very front compartment. Puts me at 315 tongue weight.
Tomorrow I will pull one of the tires/hubs to get the bearing numbers, then from Etrailer order brakes and hubs. 3,000 pounds of trailer is 60% ov TV capacity and its own weight, so needs breaks for the mountains.

I have been thinking of a build similar to yours. Coming from a teardrop. Love the living outside part of a teardrop. Just need more space. You might encourage me to get started.

I think that will be my next upgrade as well. My tow vehicle is a 3/4 ton GMC conversion van and it works well and stops pretty good . But things can get sketchy pretty fast when that 1 1/2 ton trailer is chasing you and trying to push you around in a panic stop. I'll be watching to see how it's done. Seems like I priced it out at about 500-600?

When you go to order the brakes etc. don't forget that you'll also be needing a seven-way plug connection
and the wiring for both the trailer and tow vehicle unless the tv already has one. Easier to only pay for shipping once.

From what I see on Etrailer, both self adjusting brake assemblies are $75. 2 drums are $100. A good controller is $125ish

I already have a 7 prong plug. Still have a couple 6 prong laying around when they were the standard. TV is already wired. Its easy to install brakes, not my first party. I just need to pull the current hub to get the bearing numbers for verification.

Interior trimmed out, need to touch up ceiling paint.
Replace 2 bed supports, though not critical, they are on her side at the head.
All that is left is:
1. Nose tray
2. Propane line
3. Barn door insulation, blocking for drop down table
4. Brakes

I do have a solar panel for it but not going to bother mounting it. We draw so little power.
