Sanded the whole floor for epoxy tomorrow, removed all of the un needed strap down points up front, filling those in with bondo and epoxy over.

Man, that does look great and it should be bulletproof. Are you gonna use some grit on the ramp? They can be slickery when wet.

MCDave I am unsure of the finish in the ramp. I will put some of this mixed in with the second coat tonight

I have thought about putting down a grip type material on the ramp. I only plan on hauling dirtbikes. Maybe a rzr one day but.... what do you have in mind?

I am completely against sand or course grip in epoxy. It’s hard to clean, hard wear surface on bare feet also.

Oddly enough there was enough holes in the floor from screws that I have puddles of epoxy under on my new garage floor

After switching to the metal roof vent lid, I closed it and the doors. It was super darkness inside , found a hole in the floor where they missed a beam and went straight through.
Siliconed it immediately.

We had some protective plastic down for snowmobiles screwed to the floor in various spots. Those holes were hard to find.

After I figure out plumbing and the grey and fresh water tanks I’ll have the bottom spray foamed in and it won’t matter much.

Need to figure out shower pan to grey water tank attachment, need to plumb the sink pump and shower head pump after a tankless water heater.

Does anyone know if the tankless heaters can be purchased with a pump built in or as a combo ?

My fresh tank came with pump as combo, tankless heater just came alone, but I love it. It works well with the pump, only heats when water flowing. I used a Hepvo trap and went into the side of the tank. Used a grommet to seal. Also put a by-pass valve on shower drain to drain to ground when acceptable. I only have one tank, black/grey same tank so if I can drain shower to ground saves tank space.

I know some of you all have fancy drawings and 3D computer images. I don’t have time for that and my free solid works program from school has long since been locked up.

I did draw a kinda scale picture today as I need to figure out my plumbing.

Sink: need hot n cold water and a drain to grey tank
Shower: needs hot n cold and plumbing to grey tank
Toilet: Compost/bag toilet or black water tank I am not sure. I would like to place toilet and tube directly over the two tanks they need. What plumbing fittings to connect them?

I have propane gas line I can run easy enough

I can weld the bed frames up easy enough

I can build cabinets ( it’s what I do for a living) easy enough

Electrical:

What does a guy need to purchase to power two batteries of the 6v origins?

Where can I purchase prefab fresh, grey, black water tanks?
Lots of the links in other threads are dead or no longer functioning

Another option that is kind of midway between a black tank toilet and a portable, is a cassette toilet. It is a permanent toilet install that has its black tank above the floor but accessible through an outside hatch. The black tank is on wheels and you dump it manually, but I have seen one that someone had modified to dump with a valve and hose. Just another possibility for those still deciding on their bathroom options.

I believe you can just wire the 6v batteries in series and run as a 12v system. Parallel would give you 6v @ 2x Ah. Series would be 2x6v(12v) @ 1xAh.

Not great illustration, but I think you can get it.
