Picked up one of these on craigslist for $250 off list price. It was new in plastic and had never even had fluids added. Score.

Undercarriage shot of where I ran the PEX from the shower to the front. Those yellow bungees will hold MX boots and other assorted items in place.

I used these little fittings to hold the 1/2" pex line in place, but pulled the nails out and replaced'em with screws. Geez, looking at that photo I should cover the top of my tool cabinet!

Nice score on the EU2000. Those are nice quiet units, very dependable and have the load sensing throttle control that really cuts down on the noise and fuel used. They don't hold a lot of oil so keep an eye on the color or just change it out regularly. If possible stay away from ethanol fuel and stabilize the fuel in your gas can.
Your garage area is looking neat and tidy, a place for everything and everything in its place.
The "patina" on the tool chest is a badge of honor. The only way to get that look is to work for it. Wear it proudly.
Your doing some nice work there PigTrail. Looks like you are enjoying it.

Thanks for the kind words McDave! The generator is actually one of the new 2200 units. It has a spout to make oil changes easier and an extra 200 watts above the older ones. That eco mode is nice to sip fuel too. I just ordered a progressive dynamics 60 amp converter/charger and plan to use it to keep two 6V Lifeline GPL-4CT batteries charged. They are ~220aH. These should be plenty to run all my lights, fridge, heater fan, etc.

Progress is slow, but steady. I installed the first and largest drawer of the stair cabinet last night and it fit like a glove. First one, so was a bit nervous about executing my plan, but it worked out.

Good find on the Honda. They recommend oil change every 24 hours or so. Makes sense since there is no filter.

I bought an hour meter for about $15.00 that just requires you to wrap the sense lead 3 turns around the spark plug wire for pickup. Very simple and it allows you to keep track easily. I mounted it with 2 sided tape on outside of cover. I had to drill a very tiny hole in plastic to pass the wire lead through. See below.

Btw.. I had a similar experience with PEX. I love that stuff!

Nice work!

Spent a few minutes scanning the carpet selection at Lowe's and settled on this grey that still looked good when bent at 90 degrees. I bought two linear feet for ~$15 and set to covering the top of the steps, adding hardware, and the drawer fronts. I used a staple gun to attach the carpet. Here is the finished result.

Image

We never seem to have enough places to set keys, water bottles, shoes, or whatever, so I added these shelves.

Image

In the back I added the storage clips for the fold-up aluminum table and put it in place. There are also mounting bolts on the outside for when at camp.

Image

I think it's time to add the door.

Image

I cut the side nearest the passenger side and then added the hinges before cutting the other three sides. Door mounted!

Adding trim:

Trim in place and added the upper cabinet that will hold the switches for the lights, etc.

Really nice work! Something to be proud of for sure! I like the way you made that garage work and those drawers/steps are outstanding! Be honest... you've been watching Tiny House shows.

Indeed. I spend a lot of time looking at something and thinking about it before cutting or building. I've gotten to know myself well enough that if I "feel" like something isn't ready to cut, build, or install... I find something else to paint, sand, or work on. Usually I have some little design change with the added soak-time and it makes for a better final product. That's a long way of saying I'm slow. :FNP

We're going to a dual sport motorcycle rally in Northern Arkansas in about 10 days, so I need to finish the wiring panel, add some trim, and tidy up before heading out. The ARB fridge, heater, bench seating, kitchen sink, etc. are still to come...just after this trip.

That is some of the best planning an execution I have seen yet. Love the little door. Perfect for helper elves, but should keep out the gremlins. Love all the storage in the drawers. Nice work.

PigTrail, Howdy;

Shows a lot of thought and  has gone into what you've been creating
 , !!

Lookin' forward to seein' what else you come up with agree about Elf door.

gremlins (spit!), on the other hand are thoroughly despised by anyone that has
worked on aircraft. Shouldn't even be mentioned in same forum...

Someone once gave me a little bell to ring before riding. It is supposed to keep the little g's off your motorcycle. :worship:

Hopefully this is the only little gremlin in my trailer from time to time...we call him Ralph
