Spent the last week hiding from civilization out in the forest. Had a really enjoyable time by a nice creek. Lots of stars, bats, flowers, and solitude.

People have asked why I wont leave the rear stabilizers on while traveling. In this picture look at the mounting plate below the red letters. When clean, that plate is the same black color as the jack (bit dusty in this from dropping it in the dirt). As you can see its brown. Had I left it on, it too would be brown and crusty with dirt getting into the every open spot and mixing with the grease. This is also why I remove the tongue jack. All the dirt mixing into the gears and grease does a number on them. Even worse if you drive in the winter and there's deicer down.

Beautiful scenery. I may have missed it, but what mountain is that?

One of our favorite camps.

Fun thing about building your own is you can keep tinkering with it even when it’s “Done”. Every trip I find something that can be improved.

That's the truth. I've built 20 boats over the years and they never are done, even when they are done!

Just out using the trailer. Found a nice spot to avoid the high temps the weatherman had on tap for us. Lots of flowers in bloom. Huckleberries and wild blueberries are ripening up nicely. Even used some blueberries for pancakes one morning. Tons of tiny wild strawberries. It would take a five gallon bucket of them to do anything though! Had a cow elk walk through our camp while we slept.

Wow! What a beautiful place to be. Gotta say, you have quite the knack with a camera. Some of the best I've seen. I'm not one for snapshots or selfies but I do enjoy landscapes and nature shots of all kinds. Thanks for sharing those.

Thank you!

Just determined by the size of the print. It could have been a small bull. I did hear something moving down below, but the brush where we camped was to thick to see more than 2 foot in front of you.

Thank you. I'm not a fan of selfies. I really hate it when a great landscape is ruined by someones mug pasted in front of it.

Few years back my wife and I were at a pool in the motel that we were staying at. This gal spent an hour walking around the pool with her selfie stick taking photos of herself while the rest of her pack swam. Needless to say the wife and I got a kick out of it.

Thinking about adding another hub on the other side of the tongue for the jack. When I back into my side yard by the time I get trailer where is needs to be I don't have room to straighten out the tow rig. So it makes it tight quarters when using the jack. With a hub on each side that would never be an issue. If you can't tell I'm bored and looking for another project!

Speaking of projects, my wife and mom both have early August birthdays. Made them gardening stools. Pretty simple and they don't require a lot of materials. Would make a nice trailer stool too. May make another one to take with us.
