Putting the wheel boxes on hold. Next major upgrade to the trailer is going to be adding trailer brakes. Not sure if I'll do it or have the dealer make the upgrade. More than likely will have the dealer make the upgrade.

dirt swabby, Howdy;

Ran across this and thought you might find it, or one like it to be
helpful keeping things "sipshape". Something to keep the digets from
gettin' in trouble.

That is a nice calming video. I have tied quite a few of those over the years. Used to tie decorative knot work all the time. Going camping this weekend maybe I'll tie a few up whilst sitting around the camp fire.

Spent the weekend playing in the dirt with a friend. Camped out in the High Desert of Oregon. Our site backed into a large lava flow that runs approx 12 miles. Lots of nooks and crannies to explore. Couple of small caves.
Weather was really nice. Friday night it was 16*f which was the coldest it got. Saturday it warmed up into the mid 60's. Sunday we packed up early as a wind storm was forecast. I didn't want to tow the trailer on the hwy with the high winds. Glad we did storm home early afternoon with 60mph winds! Here's some photos!

One of my scissor jacks in the back got messed up by my son who ran the impact driver on it to run it down. FYI this is a big no-no on these. You can, and he did run the threaded rod out and bend it and then it wont go back in! So I plan on taking off the scissor jacks. This doesn't bother me too much as they do stick down a bit and in a severe pinch scenario they could ground out. I plan on adding a swivel jack on each side like I did on the front. Initially I thought I'd weld the hub to the frame, but then I'd have to mess with the exterior skin. I'm going to weld the hub to an piece of angle iron and bolt it to the frame from below. I already have one hub, so I can give it a try to make sure I like it. I guess for all purposes one wouldn't even need to bolt to the trailer. once down gravity would keep it in place.

Why not put the stab jacks that flip out. Much easier.

Had those on another trailer and they failed when loading bikes into the trailer when not hooked to the T.V.. A buddy has one on his jumping jack trailer and it failed one night when he was stepping out to take a leak. flipped him ass over tea kettle into the dirt.

Sure glad we got that last camp trip in before the $h1t hit the fan. Think I'll camp in my trailer the driveway this weekend. Pull out the awning set up the fire pit and lawn chairs and sip whiskey!

I know the feeling. I was suppose to be camping last weekend and we had to call it off. :cry: :cry:

Right there with y'all. Although Texas and Oklahoma state parks are still open, they are sending mixed messages about whether or not restrooms and campground facilities are open. Oh well, my wife and I each "check off" at least two of the underlying conditions list. We're hopeful the Texas summer heat will obliviate this virus.

Oregon Closed all of the campgrounds. Doesn't really matter to me as we only camp in the Campgrounds once or twice a year. I could pack up and haul out into the BLM or forest but I'm really not into it right now. Plus there's snow in the forecast this weekend. Driveway camping sounds great. Open the door fire up the wood stove, grab beverage and a book. Staycation at its finest!

That is a great idea Dirtsailor. It could help keep perspective and positive attitude. Something for "idle hands". We just got dumped on and temps are around +7f but I can still be out there and maybe practice some cold weather camping. Thanks for the inspiration.

Well,

I didn't camp out in the trailer this weekend. But I did take a nap out there. That was nice! Didn't fire up the wood stove. Just wasn't into putting any effort into it. May have had something to do with the Whiskey...

I did put a new sticker on the trailer.
