That is a nice set up. My understanding is that it is only available for the ATC brand toy haulers. If your dimensions were compatible that would be great, but there is a lot of variance in ramp sizes. The concept is solid and ripe for "borrowing".

What an awesome idea! A flip up roof is a cool idea make or add a screen room or tent if on a budget.

I found this on amazon with two big doors. Front and back goes inside of a 10x10 pop up canopy. Have not bought one yet. Have the canopy, and that will be next purchase. Might be an option for a rig up.

I have been interested in this for a while. I would love to add a tent over the ramp for the cold months when we are deer hunting and have guests. If anyone can figure out a DIY, let us know.

I’m eventually planning on fabricating a canopy/awning that goes over my rear gate which is my “porch” when I level it with jack stands. Maybe I’ll add a bug net down the road too

A while back I wrote to the guys at Clam Outdoors and told them to look into developing something like this for cargo trailers (no affiliation):

Basically, the drop down capability that could attach to a cargo trailer rear entrance or go up and over the rear of the trailer to secure it. Get them made in 6', 7', and 8.5' widths. Add doors/windows etc to make it more usable since we're not ice fishing.

Using the following picture, imagine the trailer being where the boat is.
