It rained all night and still raining this morning and I'm happy to report no leaks in the foldout!

Here's a tip from your uncle Ronnie,

When making a fold out room on your tail gate remember that once you've meticulously level the gate; you should also check the level of the camper it's attached to!

Needless to say even though it camped well last year I'm going back and fixing the error prior to our next trip at the end of the month.ImageImage

Making a template out of the junk left over to get a close fit on the final closure panel ;)

The last panel was cut with about 1/8" clearance which I weather proofed using a door seal, I also went with a D ring latch on this panel to give me something better to pull on as opposed to the slide bolts on the other panels.

Here's the panel in place from a different angle, also you can see in this pic my solution for closing up the panel storage slots (air conditioner foam)

What do you do after you've built your folding room on your camper?

Are you ever finished modifying your camper?

I wasn't satisfied with my lighting mainly not being able to control the lights individually due to how it was wired, not to mention not being able to switch the bathroom light off and on separate of the main cabin.

These wireless switches solved that problem toot sweet! An added bonus is the switch for the bathroom is waterproof

You are never done and when you think you are, it is time to start over. Lol.

Nice work on the origami furniture!
