I'm enjoying your 3d printing solutions. What program are you using to draw with?

I use fusion360 for a majority of the 3d work and Vectric Aspire for the 2d stuff.

Just a question, have you thought of some sort of vacuum breaker to
drain the shower hose? As is it's kinda like a soda straw with a finger
keeping the liquid in the way you have it, unless there is some sort of
vacuum breaker integral in your heater/mixer set-up. Then the question
is a mote point.

Actually no I haven't Hank. The way it's set up right now it's like a water tower, if I uncork the supply line everything pretty much siphons out, there aren't any lifts or reservoirs impeding the flow.

Ok, question answered. I was thinking that there was a check-valve in there somewhere to
stop the "Water Tower" from siphoning the entire system out should a leak develop. Then
the vacuum breaker to empty the shower's hose.

No sir it's not that complicated I have no water storage the system is basically just an indoor garden hose.

Working on laminating the rear door tonight. It's made up of 3 layers of 1/2" plywood and I have a factory rv window to go in it

Finished up hanging the shower head this afternoon and getting the top of the walls trimmed out.



And I managed to squeak in laying the raised grid floor

Well... I wasn't satisfied with the rigged up way I attached my sewer drain so bout 30 hrs later two brand new never seen before pipe brackets!





Much improved over the wiggly blocking I did prior.

My toy envy is about to hit a whole new level. I just used to envy folks that had a
garage or a shop to work on things, any kind of things then you came along and are
manufacturing parts ... cause ya can ... nuff to make a fella such as myself. You Sir

Last night I worked on making some pieces for the Ikea "Vigda" curtain track system I'm going to use in the bathroom. What you get in their kit isn't a lot, they give you only two of each part and you can't buy them separately so...

I made some!

I needed pieces that would fit at the end of a run specifically (without the toggle thingy) and they did not have such a thing.

Tonight I got the track and curtain hung, a little splash of color in an otherwise white bathroom.

When not in use it slides around behind the toilet like a tapestry and when it's extended you can see it stretches across the doorway and makes a slight bend at the end to help prevent splash out.

You can also see my permanent fix for joining the radius corners to the straight track, I made some solid connector blocks and then clamped the pieces together, drilled a 1/16" hole straight through and pinned them together with the cutoff end of a stainless steel rivet.





The nice thing about this track is it's easily de-mountable with the sash lock style clips if I have a need to take it down.

Your going to like that Thetford Curve... I liked mine until that darn flush pump failed and a pump costed more than the whole unit new !

Because of the type use of mine, I had water in the top most of the time, and that pump failed in its second season. On my NEXT Thetford Curve, I will be emptying the water OUT when it is not going to be used, and when it fails, I will find a way to RETRO an alternative pump into its place.

For my new trailer, I thought I would give the CAMCO PREMIUM unit a try as it was under $90. I DISLIKE it very, very much. It is not comfortable to read on, it does not empty as easily, it does not have comfortable handles to grip when working with neither top or bottom section individually. I miss my Thetford !

So, next season, I will by another Thetford Curve. It's tons nicer than the Camco.

Good information Grummy. There is a piston style manual pump available for the curve in response to folks that have expressed problems with electric flush pump failure (from England, not available in US). Part number is Thetford 92401111 Piston Pump 111, photos attached.

Love the curtain and track install!

You’ll like the Thetford. Our “pre-Curve” model with electric pump is still going strong after 10 years. Only issue has been corrosion around the battery terminals.

With 12 volt available on the trailer, an automobile windshield washer pump maybe could be retrofitted instead of the stock Thetford pump.
