V-nose Cargo shelves/cabinets/storage/counters ideas

Postby DANJR » Fri Jul 20, 2018 11:18 am

Hello TNTTT,

Just joined the forum and will be starting a build on a cargo trailer conversion. I've come here in the past and enjoyed seeing everyone's builds, and the bug finally caught.

Long story short the wife and I relocated to the front range and purchased a 6x12 v nose I'll be converting to a basic toyhauler/hard sided tent. I'll start a build thread soon, but am trying to gather some one off ideas on a few topics first.

I'm looking for images/designs on what you've done for storage/cabinets/shelves/counters in the V nose area of the trailer. I'd like a counter for preparing food, and as much storage as possible. Possibly a closet area and a slide out cooler tray? I've got a blank slate and any all ideas are welcomed.

Thanks,
DANJR

Here's one idea/layout from my CTC. Good luck with your build and welcome to the forum.

Thanks for the welcome!

Yours looks like a super nice setup, but I envision mine will be much more basic than this. If I were to go that far, I'd look to purchase a toyhauler RV instead I think.

Let's see some other ideas on here!

Well I don't have a V-Nose in this trailer but this is my Kitchen area so far.
I have had plans to make it more elaborate but after using it like this a few times I am inclined to keep it just as is for now.
I may put doors on it to keep things in but I still may not too?

In these pics the top shelf has no bottom in them too but I promise they are in there now.
The bottom is screwed under the shelf too and things stay up there even on the road because of it!
