It's hard to say, I did it more for the contents of the trailer than for the feel in towing. My trailer is a lot heavier (8x20) and I thought it would keep things from being bounced around as bad.
It does seem like it rides smoother, and I'm sure that it will help the tires wear better with more even pressure to the ground.
I did have to refabricate the top mount of the brackets in order to bring them closer to the frame to allow more clearance from the inside of the tire.
I feel like it was a worthy addition, and it was fairly easy to do.
