nsfr... did you take delivery of trailer yet? I finally got mine after almost a 5 months wait which was reportedly only 4 to 6 weeks pre-Covid.

Your plans look solid. I am doing a 2*2 shower as I am a skinny guy and want to keep the space I use very little as small as possible. I have a layout in mind, but now that I have the trailer, I need to roll the motorcycle in, shower pan, etc.. and start measuring and taping floorplan to floor.

The computer is great for initial layout, but sometimes you find when you see it for real, you want to change a few things.

I may make the shower width 30 inches or so wide once I see what that does to the "feel" inside... or taper it back from 32" like I did in my last build.

My wife is not so much a consideration in this build since this is meant to be just for my backwoods excursions, so I have a few less constraints.

Good luck.

Curiosity, but can you buy - order - one without OSB, or simpler and as inexpensive to buy with and toss it?

I tried twice with no luck. And these steel nails they use are pure evil. Easily quadruple time to remove paneling for insulation and etc.

I even changed colors from one they couldn’t seem to get in stock to white that was supposedly in stock.

I saw my Salesperson when I took delivery in Georgia Monday. He just happened to be there. He told me the whole industry is struggling to get material and costs have went up over 35% since I ordered in January. I could sell mine now for a nice profit.

In any case, he said at least 3 major builders in Douglas, GA have shut down. He had well over 30 orders that will not be delivered now and lots of mad customers who now have to get deposits back if they can. .

I guess I am lucky mine got finished and I paid for it before the hammer hit.

I hope you get yours soon. I am counting myself fortunate.

I am getting a little concerned. They do still appear to be open but nobody answered.

I made contact. Welding is scheduled for 5/24 week. I picked up an almost new rv for my parents a week or so ago and they are not even living here at this time so we can use it. That means the pressure to get this done for this summer is off and I won’t have to fly through the build.

It’s just a Rockwood mini lite 2204s. Not really large but adequate.

I like the floor plan in those models. Very nice trade off if you have to wait. Making some lemonade out of lemons!

I received a message this morning that my trailer was ready. Looks like a trip to Georgia is in my near future.
