My wife and I had a bunch -- now my ex-wife has has a bunch, and I have one.

I would love to find a Griswold DO for a decent price.

I like the old Cast Iron because it seems to be smoother. The Lodge stuff seems awfully rough.

I have a few pieces by Griswold, but as far as collecting the older stuff goes...
I'm after the Wapak Indianheads these days.

I've never had any problems with food getting stuck on the newer stuff...
What I have found, is the newer rough stuff is much easier to season than the older smooth stuff.
The oil seems to stay put when seasoning new stuff...
I sure get a lot of drips and runs when seasoning the old stuff...

I still have a couple Griswold #9 frying pans looking for a home.
