That's a nice iron... It was actually produced by Griswold for Montgomery Wards.
Got a chuckle from you saying Monkey-Wards... That's what my folks used to call it. :lol:

I am looking for a short base for my waffle Iron. I think the tall keeps the iron too far away from the heat and takes longer to cook.

If anyone has just the short base they want to sell PM me.
Is it true? Is it necessary? Is it kind? Ask yourself these simple questions every time you are in doubt about any action.
