I just had to say it......  8)

hey has anyone tryed solar reflector with duchoven?

I know a woman who when she lead girl scouts they used one and she said it worked great. I also heard of a guy who used one to reflect heat of the fire which means even after the sun has gone down there is still heat to be found.

My wife, Lucia saw severl people at our first teardrop gathering in Northern CA. with Dutch ovens
I have been looking around for them most are expensive. the army navy store has been the cheepest so far. I have not got a chance to read this forum to know where else to look .... I will do that next.

I found 2 cookbooks on the subject. I am sure there are more on the net.

Ron,

Is a solar reflector like a solar cooker?

If you look on the net, there are several sites that show how to build your own solar cooker. I would think that if you are able to build your own trailer, then a solar cooker would be no problem. But then again, I don't know if we are talking about the same thing.

First, you get an old satellite dish, and then you get a broken mirror ...

Seriously, you can build a solar oven with pizza boxes and aluminium foil, but the parabolic (dish shaped) ones are here:
