Good buy and a nice price. Plus reasonable shipping not from the East Coast. The shipping can kill a good deal.
Now go to Costco and get a giant bag of mix and enjoy. :)

I was just looking around and put in a minimum bid figuring I wouldn't win it. No one else bid on it so I got a waffle iron. It'll probably never see a gathering since so many others have then but the kids will like the waffles that don't come out of the box.

Shoot Jim..I'll bet Emiko will like being in charge of the waffle iron.
You'll be able to kick back and drink coffee and provide the feed back... 8)

Jim,
You didn't break down... You ramped up!
Your kids will most likely enjoy the waffle iron, should give them memories to hold onto for a lifetime...
Speaking of ramping up... How'd your prime rib come out???

Jim:

One word of advise. If you want to do blueberries, use dried ones. I did fresh berries today. They tasted very good but it was hard to get a crispy waffle because the fat berries got in the way. Then I had to clean the mess up with berry skins in my iron. Not good. But I am ready for the next batch.
Loved the waffles but I am shocked at the price of maple syrup at Trader Joe's. Damn global warming it is messing with my waffles. :?

Did anyone try the jam for sale at Mendo? I kept forgetting with I was close to the trailer selling it.

probably the wrong place to post this but
I buy a 1 lb pkg of frozen blue berries at HEB for 3.39
and make some real good syrup with a bit of corn
sweetener and cane sugar ad a few drops of lemon juice
and a bit of corn starch. boil it a bit and use that on the waffles
it always makes my little ladybugs wings flutter :D

Unless you offer free shipping and a 'Fair Trade" price for teardroppers and friend, we don't need to know about it. (but I could use some in Abluquerque next weekend :D )
