Coffee:
An Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Home roasted on Sept 9 to a City+/Full City
Brewed in an Aeropress at 185 F. 11 gms coffee ground medium fine and 6 oz water, stirred for 15 seconds and extracted just over 20 seconds.

(sniff, sniff ) ahh! a hint of Jasmine

Coffee's kinda like wine. Just talk about perfumes, fruits, chocolate -- every body thinks you're an expert. (Snob)

Can't you smell the Jasmine over the internet

My wife's a school teacher so I make sure she gets a good hot breakfast each morning. Usually some variation of the waffle.

Yesterday:

Buckwheat mix with a dash of cinnamon, brown sugar, vanilla, an egg, olive oil and fresh Gala apples from the N. Georgia mountains sprinkled on top before cooking. Her comment, "like having cake for breakfast." I guess she knows what to say to keep me cooking ;)

REAL MAPLE SYRUP! Woohoo!

Now, just use some real butter, and you got it down!

I haven't had buckwheat pancakes in many, many years. Yummy.

Geron..
I have a great recipe for buckwheat pancakes that has been in our family for many years. That was always our traditional holiday breakfast when my folks were living and had our big family gatherings. Dad made a starter with the buckwheat flour etc. and then would just add to it as he would make them for a few days when did the initial starter. Strong buckwheat taste and really good in the winter months...Would be glad to pass it on to you if you're interested......Your waffles look soooo good!
