I can't believe it. Finally won a waffle iron! Did I do ok For $35.00 Shipped?

Mark... Looks like a nice one! I think ya did good. It also looks like a perfect candidate for the "electrolysis method" for removing the rust. If you have a little 10 amp battery charger you can derust it in about 30 minutes.

Here's a good how-to on the "electrolysis method"

Looks like you got a deal Mark...lots less than I paid. After you get it cleaned up, just make sure you season it really REALLY well! I use Pam regularly on mine when cooking... they are all drop outs...if you doctor up a recipe sometimes they can stick depending on what you have in it. Practice up on the basics and have fun! Doug

Griswolds make yucky waffles. Just send it to me.

Make sure you get a picture of that first waffle!!! or fake it and tell us the first picture you take is the first waffle. :lol:

It is a GRISWOLD!!!!!!!!!!!! You did great. I love Griswold. I like the cast iron conditioner that I bought at IDOS. You can get it at camp chef for 8.99. I think it works better than anything else I have tried.
