Such a deal!

Postby cuyeda » Tue Nov 06, 2007 2:51 am

For anyone looking to get into dutch ovens, I have a great deal to share with you! I purchased this on sale at Home Depot. Regular price $19.99. On sale for $10.00 something. Voila! A portable stand off the ground to set your dutch oven or coal starter etc.. on. Just remove the grill, and now you even have a wind screen. Folds flat, and comes with a carrying handle + vinyl case. It will fit a 12" DO easily. Get em' while they last, or check another store.

Can't beat it with your tongs!

P.S. You can thank me after you get yours.

cuyeda:

Thanks for the tip!!

Got one today at Home Depot on sale for $7.50 + tax.

Note: They were on a high shelf and not easy to see and I almost missed them.

Good double duty item for the T@B - use it for a DO windscreen and cook station or use it as a BBQ grill - all this for only $7.50 including a carry bag.

By the way, went to the big RV show here in Oklahoma City yesterday (Saturday), wow, lots of big rigs that would make our T@B and smaller trailers look awfully small but I don't have $100,000 invested in the T@B either. By the way, are T@B owners allowed to claim to be teardroppers?

Thanks again for the idea.

John,

I am glad that you were able to acquire something you find of use for camping. Plus you purchased it cheaper than I bought it for, great! Others will probably comment, but anything that you can stand up in is not a teardrop, plus the galley is usually not within the interior sleeping areas. Although, some have debated a T@B with an outside galley to be in the teardrop category. Heck who cares, just go camping and have fun.
