She found all my hiding places, nooks and crannies where I had my cast iron stashed...

It doesn't look like that much to me...

Dean...I think you can open your own cast iron store.

TDN Updates the CI Collection

Postby The Teardrop Nanny » Sat Aug 16, 2008 4:55 pm

Yes....and she brought them all out of the closet, literally, and prettied them up and put them on display for you to admire. It's a shame they were all hidden away where they weren't getting used. like they deserve to be used. Now they are all out for you to see what you've got....and you didn't even remember owning some of them, did you?? Don't they look nice??

Hey, Dean:

Is there a story behind the one on the bottom shelf; the only one that isn't black?

She found all of it and I really don't think it's a lot...
The aluminum one is strictly for making ice cream...
Aluminum conducts the cold much better than cast iron.

You squirrel !!! No wonder the price is going up; you have all the available CI for the West Coast

You are so bad you actually have one DO for just ICE CREAM! Shame on you!!

To bad she found you out :) maybe you can spend some of that money on your build!

I'm glad about two things...
1. The ceiling in the office is only 9' tall and she wasn't able to keep stacking them.
2. She dismantled the stack she made before she went home.

Why am I glad for that?...
We just had a long shaker. :o

It would be interesting to put all of that on pallet scale, and find the total weight. Ok, who is going to be next to pull all the iron out for a photo session.
