Found: Bacon and Egg Breakfast Skillet

Postby devigata » Fri Apr 24, 2009 6:14 pm

For $15.00 in Sopchoppy, FL.

It says Wagner Ware (old logo), Sidney, -0- and "Bacon and Egg Breakfast Skillet" 1101E on the back.

No rust, but needs a good cleaning and seasoning. I think I got a great deal, but if anyone can give me more info, I'd be grateful. Sorry in advance for the bad pics.

Thanks for being my enabler.

I looked on eBay for the same item and found one for $9.99 (very rusty) and one in great condition for $88.88. Evidently I DID get a good deal!

Picked up some silverplated silverware for $.50 each, too. I'm going to make a wind chime out of them.

Just to throw a little cold water on your fire........

Why would you want a couple of square eggs with no bacon-lube under them :?

You would have to lube them seperately, wouldn't you? My guess is that there is a reason the company quit producing them......mebb'eso a kid that came home from college with new ideas for a new skillet.

Fixing a problem that never existed is the same as fixing something that was never broken......a cardinal rule that should be paid its due :R

Hurl the monkey excrement, it you feel the need ;)

Square eggs fit perfectly on toast! :picnic:

The dividers aren't but a quarter inch high, so there will be drippings to cook the eggs. All is not lost.

And no poo throwing from me!

Just funnin' with ya'......glad you got it for a song, but I usually eat my egg & bacon sammiches on an English muffin. The protruding corners of the egg are a detriment for me.

BTW....do you usually cook your eggs and bacon at the same temperature or do you introduce them at different intervals

I cook my bacon to "rendered, but soft" and my eggs SLOW and over medium.....keeps the yolks out of my beard :R

Hmmm

Do you do the bacon in the big part? Then you must put butter in the small parts, before dropping the eggs in. Yum yum! Sounds like a bacon, egg and cheese muffin in the works to me! :D
