Although I am presently experimenting with it on the stove in the house, I plan to use it on my Coleman propane stove when camping-plenty of waffles from that Krusteaz mix. Also, I bought a Lodge 8" camp Dutch Oven to try a couple of recipes. These are my first attempts into the Cast Iron world-we'll see how it goes.

We had fun making them in Austin this fall. Next gathering you can join the waffle making crew.

Joanne, I hope by then I will have it down and can turn out some good waffles. It was fun at Austin. I have been looking at your cooking site many times lately. Thank you for the info there.

You may find this hard to believe but I swear it's true.

My wife works at Macy's. Last June a new bride returned a waffle iron she received as a wedding present. When asked why she was returning it, she replied, " I've looked everywhere, but I can't find any waffles that fit it"

I think I know one new husband who will be losing weight.

If a man says something in camp, and no woman is around to hear it...Is he still wrong?
